Who this is for

A listing photo can tell you the kitchen was remodeled. It cannot tell you whether the backyard gets afternoon sun, how loud the street is at 7am, how the bike commute to campus actually goes, or why the house down the block sold for less. That gap is where most home searches get stuck. You end up with a browser full of open tabs and no real way to compare them.

This is for you if you’re buying your first home, trading up because the family grew, downsizing after the kids left, moving in from out of state, or just watching the market for the next year to see what happens. You don’t have to be ready to make an offer to start asking me questions. Plenty of good searches start a long time before anyone signs.

What’s included and how it works

Here’s what happens after you find something you want a closer look at.

  1. You send me the address.

Text, email, or a screenshot works fine. No form to fill out, no account to create.

  2. I check the current status.

Third-party listing sites can lag behind reality, so I confirm whether a home is still available, pending, or already sold before you get your hopes up.

  3. I tell you what I know about the location.

School zones, commute times, which parts of town flood and which don’t, what else has sold nearby recently. This is the part you can’t get from a photo gallery.

  4. We tour the ones worth touring.

I can show you any home for sale in the area, not only the ones I have listed. Showings happen on your schedule, including evenings and weekends. My hours are Monday through Saturday, 8am to 7pm. Sunday, noon to 7pm.

  5. I walk you through the offer.

Price, terms, inspections, timelines, and what each choice actually means for you. I explain the process rather than just handing you paperwork to sign.

  6. I stay in touch after closing.

Contractor recommendations, questions about your property taxes, or a value check three years down the road. The relationship doesn’t end at the closing table.

Why work with me on your search

I know these seven towns as places, not map pins.

Corvallis, Albany, Philomath, Lebanon, Monmouth, Independence, and Tangent each have their own price ranges, commutes, and character. I can help you figure out which one fits how you actually live.

I’ll tell you when a house isn’t right.

If the layout won’t work for you, or the location is going to bother you in six months, I’d rather say so than sell you something you regret. I put my clients before the sale.

I’ve been licensed since 2012.

More than a decade of Oregon transactions in this specific market, through fast years and slow ones.

There’s an actual office you can walk into.

435 NW 5th St. Suite A in downtown Corvallis, if you’d rather sit down than text.

Frequently asked questions

How current are the listings I see online?

Listing sites can run behind, sometimes by days. Text me an address at (541) 829-2556 and I’ll confirm whether it’s active, pending, or sold before you plan your weekend around it.

Can you show me a home that another agent has listed?

Yes. I can arrange a showing for any home for sale in the area, regardless of which brokerage has it listed.

Do you cover towns outside Corvallis?

Yes. I work in Corvallis, Albany, Philomath, Lebanon, Monmouth, Independence, and Tangent.

What does it cost me to have you show me listings?

Buyer compensation is set in writing before we start touring, and it varies by transaction. Call or text me and I’ll explain exactly how it would work for your purchase, with no obligation.

I’m not buying for another year. Is it too early to talk?

No. Early is better. Watching the market with someone who knows it means you’ll recognize the right house when it shows up instead of second-guessing it.

Will you tell me if you think a house is a bad idea?

Yes, straight out. If the layout, the location, or the price doesn’t hold up, you’ll hear that from me before you write an offer.

I’m moving here from out of state. Can you help me search remotely?

Yes. I do video walkthroughs, answer neighborhood questions, and help you plan a trip so your visit is spent seeing homes worth seeing. The relocation side of this site goes deeper on comparing the towns.

I need to sell my current home before I buy. Can you handle both?

Yes. I represent both sides of that move and will help you sequence the timing so you’re not stuck between two closings.

What’s the fastest way to reach you?

Text (541) 829-2556. I’m available Monday through Saturday, 8am to 7pm. Sunday, noon to 7pm.

It’s Your Move.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need someone who will listen, give you a straight answer, and help you take the next step with confidence.
